Paul Micheals can often be found hunkered over a keyboard in his home in Los Angeles, surrounded and pestered by three cats and a dog who always seem to think it’s feeding time. A big fan of food himself, Micheals fancies himself a decent cook and loves being in the kitchen almost as much as he does putting stories together.
Micheals has been writing fiction in one form or another since he discovered role-playing games in the early 90s. As a teenager, he was fascinated with stories of swords, sorcery, and grit, and maintains that obsession to this day. His prose and stories are heavily influenced by amazing authors such as Robert Jordan, George R.R. Martin, C.S. Friedman, and Robin Hobb. When an interesting thought occurs to him that doesn’t qualify as fiction (and even some that do), he blogs.
